Here at Northacre, we are delighted to share that the first show apartment, designed by Natalia Miyar Atelier, has been unveiled at The Broadway.
With striking architecture and triple-aspect panoramic views towards the capital’s most treasured monuments and parks, the show apartment’s interior has a soft colour palette, embodying the elegant lifestyle of a youthful, clean-living urban resident.
In the living space, vintage travertine coffee tables sit alongside strong sculptural furniture shapes that characterise this room, whilst collage artworks from Miami feature on the walls, complementing the pared-back look.
The specially commissioned furniture pieces and accessories enrich the overall design with elements of stone, marble, and hardwood with exquisite accents of copper and brass. This rich palette is an expression of innovative contemporary design that is both comfortable and luxurious with special energy from this play between form and scale.
Natalia Miyar, director and founder of Natalia Miyar Atelier comments, “My design for the first show apartment aims to encapsulate the spectacular views of historical Westminster through The Broadway’s floor to ceiling unique diamond windows. These panoramic views are celebrated from an oversized dining table from which to truly entertain in style against a spectacular backdrop across the iconic London skyline.”
The Broadway at Orchard Place is a new cultural and wellness destination that will be home to design-led residential, commercial, and retail spaces combining urban luxury and convivial style. The mixed-use development includes 258 residential one to five-bedroom apartments and penthouses, each with the epitome of British design innovation.

House of Walpole at No.1 Palace Street, will be the home of British Luxury Craftsmanship, bringing together Britain’s best luxury brands within one ultra-luxurious space.
This collaboration between Northacre and Walpole will showcase and highlight the best of British luxury craftsmanship in a bespoke one-off residence designed entirely by Walpole member, luxury architectural interior design studio, Oliver Burns.
Presented at London Craft Week, Northacre CEO Niccolò Barattieri di San Pietro and Sharon Lillywhite, Founding Partner of Oliver Burns Studio chatted about the exciting project with contributing partners Sean Clayton, MD of Peter Reed and Marie Karlson, CEO of Cole & Son to discuss the importance of craftsmanship, creativity and collaboration to the luxury industry.
To showcase the House of Walpole at No. 1 Palace Street, we have created a short film for your enjoyment.
Situated in the heart of London, overlooking Buckingham Palace and surrounded by some of the most prestigious neighbourhoods in the world, No.1 Palace Street is a unique luxury living space like no other.
Not only is No.1 Palace Street’s location unrivalled, but its rich history and complex architecture make the building truly unique.
The story of No.1 Palace Street started in 1860 with the construction of the Palace Street Hotel, one of central London’s first five-star establishments and home to many of Queen Victoria’s guests.
A perfect blend of the past and the future, the construction of No.1 Palace Street retains and celebrates this history whilst showcasing five distinct architectural styles: Beaux-Arts, French Renaissance, Italian Renaissance, Queen Anne & Contemporary.
Connecting contemporary design with No.1 Palace Street’s historic roots was always a priority for Northacre. When first entering the building through the Buckingham gate entrance, a logo was found etched into the marble floor. It was later discovered that this logo mirrors the original floorplan of Buckingham Palace. This is represented in the No.1 Palace Street logo and also permeates through to many design elements of the building.
Northacre prides itself on refining the smallest details. For No.1 Palace Street this meant using beautiful Italian marble, which was mined from the same mountains they extracted marble from 2000 years ago.
Discover more about the making of No.1 Palace Street in the film linked here and for more information on the apartments, please get in touch with a member of the Northacre team.

To help celebrate this extraordinary building we’ve produced a short film ‘No.1 Palace Street – 200 years in the making’ to highlight its rich history and unique transformation. Continue reading to find out more and watch the video.

Isamu Noguchi once said that ‘Everything is sculpture. Any material, any idea without hindrance born into space, I consider sculpture’ – and this latest Barbican exhibition will certainly have you seeing the art form through a fresh lens. Opening in September 2021, Noguchi is his first touring retrospective in Europe for 20 years and explores his risk-taking approach to sculpture as a living environment. By Anya Meyerowitzhouse.
TACITA DEAN AT FIRTH STREET GALLERY
A dual-space exhibition partly commissioned by The Royal Ballet
If Tacita Dean wasn’t a name on your lips before, she’ll be practically spilling out of them once her latest exhibition at the Frith Street Gallery opens in September 2021. Set inside both the Golden Square and Soho Square spaces, works on display include a vast, eight-panel monochrome photogravure that covers an entire wall, which is surely the pièce de résistance. The exhibition is part new commission from The Royal Ballet for The Dante Project and part 50-minute film, One Hundred and Fifty Years of Painting, which documents a conversation between artists Julie Mehretu and the late Luchita Hurtado. MY HEAD IS A JUNGLE: MANJIT THAPP, NOW GALLERY
A thought-provoking, immersive show from a young artist
Manjit Thapp is NOW Gallery’s Young Artist of the Year, and her first immersive commission, My Head is a Jungle, explores a heady mix of large-scale murals and sculptural exotic spaces. ROYAL STYLE IN THE MAKING, KENSINGTON PALACE
It might be the most famous wedding dress in the world – the puffy-sleeved gown that Princess Diana wore 40 years ago on her wedding day, when millions watched her trail the 25ft train down the aisle of St Paul’s Cathedral before marrying Prince Charles.
Created by David and Elizabeth Emanuel in 1981, the gown will go on display at her former home of Kensington Palace, loaned by her sons Prince William and Prince Harry. The exhibition takes over the palace’s Orangery and also explores designers who have dressed the Queen, Princess Margaret and the Queen Mother – make sure to see British designer Norman Hartnell’s original sketches for the Queen’s wedding dress, as well as an extravagant 18th-century themed gown that Princess Margaret wore at a 1960’s Mansion House charity ball.
